Can you coat a distribution building without shutting it down?
Almost always. We work in phases, zone by zone or aisle by aisle, with containment and clear traffic routing so shipping and receiving keep running. Fast-cure polyaspartic lets us hand back a section that takes foot traffic the same evening and lift trucks the next morning. Nights and weekends are ordinary scheduling for us. The exception is troweled urethane cement, whose cure cannot be compressed, so wash-down rooms and cold storage need a real shutdown window planned in advance.
What is the difference between polished concrete and an epoxy coating?
A coating adds a film on top of your slab. Polishing refines the slab itself with progressively finer diamonds plus a chemical densifier, so there is no film that can peel or blister. Polishing is breathable, which makes it the right answer on a slab with moisture vapor coming through that would otherwise need an expensive mitigation primer.
A coating gives you far better chemical resistance and lets you choose a color. We walk the slab and tell you which one it is a candidate for before anybody signs.
